Gabriel McGowan is a Paris-based writer and traveler who was born in 1970. Set in disparate locations across the globe, his fiction explores the disturbing new and old ways in which the peoples of the world now interact. His short stories include What Would Memphis Blue Do?The Tunisian CombinationWhere Does Your Driver Sleep?Jeffrey's Voyage; and Jazz Fusion. These early works comprise his Collected Stories Volume One.

 

In June of 2020, he published The Tale of Ashton Billings: Emerging Market Risks, a story set largely in the Democratic Republic of Congo and India, which delves into modern-day economic exploitation and colourism . 

 

His new novel, Almost All Faith was released in summer 2024.
